Lucky Dog Rescue Stories

Lucky Dog Rescue is in Washington, DC and has been a tremendous partner in helping rescue dogs.

Moses has fit into our foster family absolutely perfectly!  Here he is, happily asleep his big day - and after playing and having a nice meal.  Moses got along joyfully with our dog Nube and our boys.  Thanks for all you do!  Moses has made our day (and we hope we've made his).  Cheers! He is a very happy pup. I am forwarding you an e-mail from his adopters.  They wanted to thank you and send you updates.

Hi Matt Just keeping you up to date. Troubador is doing great. I took him and Enli to the dog park yesterday and they were worn out by the time we got home. He has become my shadow.Every where I go he's right beside me.He's so cute. He follows the sit command very well.He seems to be getting more adapted day by day. I will send you pictures soon. If you give me the shelters info. from SC I can keep them updated, unless you want to.Just let me know.Thank you for giving our family such a sweet, beautiful dog.-Christina

O'Donald went to a family in Alexandria, VA.  They have three kids ranging from 4 to 10.  The mom stays at home.  The 10 year old boy really wanted a dog and the mom parents wanted him to learn about being responsible for a dog, so they have already signed up for obedience classes with the mom, the son and O'Donald.  The 7 year old girl is very shy and a little scared of dogs, so she and the mom came to the adoption event to pick out a dog together.  The little girl fell in love with O'Donald and is already bonding with him.  The four year-old boy LOVES all dogs and couldn't be happier with the new addition to the family.  They have a big fenced in backyard for O'Donald to play in with the kids. O'Donald hit the jackpot!
